Held at the Bristol Hotel in Bristol, the awards are fiercely coveted and a huge total of 64 awards were presented to the best tourism and hospitality businesses from across Bristol, Bath, and Somerset.
The awards covered everything from accommodation and attractions to food and drink and activities, with an ever-wider range of visitor experiences amongst the winners. There were also awards for an increasing number of businesses in the all-important new tourism business, sustainable tourism and accessible tourism categories.
These prestigious awards are fiercely contested and awarded on a strict set of judging criteria.
Judging is carried out by an independent panel of past winners, industry leaders and all experts in their field, selected for their impartiality, experience and suitability for each category.
Judges look for evidence of our commitment to ethical, responsible and sustainable tourism.

Still in its infancy, Wytch Wood Camping and Glamping in Somerset entered the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards again.
And, guess what – we only went and won Silver!!
The award recognises tourism businesses from across the Southwest who are truly committed to being sustainable, responsible and ethical in how they operate and interact with customers, the wider community and the environment.
This prestigious black tie ceremony is a highlight in every South West business’s calendar. So, after being shortlisted (yes, shortlisted!), we attended a fabulous gala dinner for 250 guests at the , to discover whether we had won bronze, silver or gold.
And, guess what – we only went and won silver in that category too!
A huge thank you goes out to our category sponsors; Anytime Booking and ORCHID.
Thank you to Southwest Tourism Awards for recognising Wytch Wood Camping again this year - silver in both the best camping category and ethical, responsible and sustainable tourism category. Some incredible businesses were on show and it was amazing for our tiny little site to be included in with the big boys and girls! Congratulations to all the winners - so many amazing businesses in Somerset.
