This tent pitch is set in a stunning spot beside a little waterfall in the stream and views into the woods.
Cascade Camping Pitch is a circular pitch set beside a cascading waterfall in the stream and sheltered by trees.
Let the sound of running water lull you to sleep. This tent pitch is in a stunning spot beside a little waterfall in the stream. Sheltered by trees, you will have uninterrupted views of the woodland on three sides – and over the sweep of bluebells in the spring.
Rustic log seating is right beside the waterfall and is just for you, along with a firepit for the evening. This spot is perfect for birdwatching.
Please be aware that there is a drop beside the pitch down to the plunge pool from the little waterfall; there are rails and vegetation between the pitch and the stream.
Cascade camping pitch is best for:

⇒ Small and medium-sized tents

⇒ Solitude lovers
⇒ Sleeps up to 4 (Max 4 adults and teens)
This pitch is not suitable for:
⊗ Campervans, roof-top tents or trailer tents
⊗ Long tunnel tents or hammock tents
⊗ Toddlers, as a steep drop into a waterfall pool
You will have sole use of a large rustic wooden table, fire pit with grill, and your own compost loo on your plot. You will also have access to the hot showers, washing-up area and all other facilities at Wytch Wood.
NB: No very young children due to deep pools in the stream. Not suitable for large tents or pup tent.

Essential Booking Info
We are open from May to September and keep our pricing the same throughout the year.
All pricing is per person, per night:
Key Information
- Check in from 2pm.
- Check out by 11am.
- Party size – minimum 1 person, maximum 4 people (max 4 adults). You cannot exceed the maximum occupants per pitch.
- We do not accept dogs other than support dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site and respectful levels of noise at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay on Cascade Camping Pitch is 4 nights during school holidays and 2 nights at other times. Minimum 1 guest.
Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- In the event that we are unable re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement with us in writing.
- You are advised to take out travel insurance. See our full booking terms and conditions.

Hot showers stocked with ‘Faith in Nature’ products
The showers are a great experience if we do say so ourselves. The clear roof means that you feel like you’re still in the middle of nature.
CAFE & BAR
The communal barn is there for everyone to use. Enjoy fresh, barista-made coffee, the fully licensed bar, and hand-stretched pizza cooked to order for you. Plus, we have lots of games to choose from for all ages – from backgammon to battleships.
WASH UPS
Our washing-up area boasts hot water and ‘Green Bear‘ biologically friendly washing-up liquid. Plus, we provide beautiful (and free) clear spring water for you to drink during your stay.
ACTIVITIES
We put on an exciting array of activities for campers and locals. From bushcraft, archery and axe throwing to forest bathing, yoga, and bat walks you can join in on as lille or as much as you like.
