Orchard Bank Camping Pitch is a lovely, large grass pitch for tents or campervans. It is located on the upper side of the site and is surrounded by a young fruit orchard.
This pitch is suitable for most party sizes and all types of tents or campervans. It is surrounded by rustic rails and young fruit trees and bordered by a wildflower meadow.
Orchard Bank camping pitch is best for:
⇒ All tents, with room for a pup tent or a gazebo
⇒ Campervans, roof top tents and trailer tents
⇒ Sun lovers
⇒ Being close to the cafe and amenities
⇒ Sleeps up to 6 (Max 4 adults and teens)
This pitch is not suitable for:
⊗ Solitude lovers
⊗ Woodland and shade lovers
You will have your own compost loo, seating area, table, BBQ and firepit, and you are close to the communal facilities of hot showers, washing-up area, water points and covered cafe/bar area.

We are open from May to September and keep our pricing the same throughout the year.
All pricing is per person, per night:
Key Information
- Check in from 2pm.
- Check out by 11am.
- Party size – minimum 1 person, maximum 6 people total (max 4 adults and teens). You cannot exceed the maximum occupants per pitch.
- We do not accept dogs other than support dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site and respectful levels of noise at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay on Orchard Bank Camping Pitch is 1 night at all times. Minimum 2 guests.
Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- In the event that we are unable re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement with us in writing.
- You are advised to take out travel insurance. See our full booking terms and conditions.

The showers are a great experience if we do say so ourselves. The clear roof means that you feel like you’re still in the middle of nature.
CAFE & BAR
The communal barn is there for everyone to use. Enjoy fresh, barista-made coffee, the fully licensed bar, and hand-stretched pizza cooked to order for you. Plus, we have lots of games to choose from for all ages – from backgammon to battleships.
WASH UPS
Our washing-up area boasts hot water and ‘Green Bear‘ biologically friendly washing-up liquid. Plus, we provide beautiful (and free) clear spring water for you to drink during your stay.
ACTIVITIES
We put on an exciting array of activities for campers and locals. From bushcraft, archery and axe throwing to forest bathing, yoga, and bat walks you can join in on as lille or as much as you like.
