One of our largest, most flexible woodland camping pitches.
High Beeches Camping Pitch is set under some of our most majestic Beech trees, providing beautiful dappled shade, whatever your set-up.
The High Beeches pitch can accept any tent type, is perfect for bell tents and larger setups, and can also accommodate small campervans. Also suitable for tent boxes, trailer tents and hammock tents; pretty much everything!
There is space for two tents or campervans and you can choose to camp in the trees or meadow edge. Set on the edge of the site beside the stream, you will have uninterrupted views of the woods. Perfect for exploring in the Bluebell woods across the stream.
As a larger pitch, it can be booked for small groups or larger families with more than one tent. However, you are politely reminded that we are a quiet site with no amplified music, and noise must be kept to respectful levels, especially after dark.
The High Beeches camping pitch is best for:
⇒ All tent set-ups, including hammock tents
⇒ Campervan and awning, trailer tents, rooftop tents
⇒ Large families or small groups with 1 or 2 tents/vans
⇒ Sun and shade
⇒ Sleeps up to 8 (max 6 adults and teens)
This pitch is not suitable for:
⊗ Solo travellers or couples
⊗ Further from amenities
You will have sole use of a wooden table and chairs, a fire pit with a grill and log seats, and your own compost loo on the plot. You will also have access to the hot showers, washing up area and all other facilities at Wytch Wood.
Minimum stay on the High Beeches camping pitch is for 2 nights. Minimum 4 guests.

Key Information
- Check in from 2 pm.
- Check out by 11 am.
- Party size – minimum 4 people, maximum 8 people total (max 6 adults or teens). You cannot exceed the maximum occupants per pitch.
- We do not accept dogs other than support dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site, and respectful levels of noise are required at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay on the High Beeches camping pitch is for 2 nights. Minimum 4 guests.

Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- If we are unable to re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement from Wytch Wood in writing.
