We’re excited to introduce a fabulous new addition at Wytch Wood: start or end your day with yoga, taught by the wonderful Ahn.

 

Dates:

  • Every Wednesday – Monday
  • 8am and 5pm,
  • £5 per person

Whether you’re after a calm start to the day or a way to unwind before evening, Ahn brings [X years of experience with a focus on [style — e.g. “breath-led, all-levels practice”] that’s welcoming whether you’re brand new to yoga or have a well-worn mat.

YOGA WORKSHOPS

NEW MOON YOGA

 

New Moons provide us with a time to begin setting new intentions, embrace a fresh start and work towards new projects. In our new moon sessions, we will be practising gentle, restorative hatha flows and postures to help us reflect and ground our energy, ready for the new beginnings this moon phase will bring. Suitable for all abilities.

FULL MOON YOGA

 

Full Moons invite us to release all that no longer serves us and to cleanse our energy. In our full moon practice, we will be exploring heart-opening yoga postures that help us release old energy and create space.

 

Named after the great Sturgeon fish found in North America’s lakes and rivers, this full moon symbolises resilience and prosperity. It invites us to connect with our inner strength. Suitable for all abilities.

WOMENS CIRCLE WELLNESS WORKSHOP

WELLNESS TO NOURISH YOUR SOUL

 

Join Cha for an hour of connection, community and self-care. Surrounded by the lush nature of the woodland and meadows at Wytch Wood. Take a breath and allow yourself to be guided through meditation and simple rituals designed to make your heart sing and your breath expand.

 

  • Date tbc
  • 6pm – 7.30pm

 

Who is it for?

For an hour and a half, women of all ages will learn about practices such as journal reflection, meditation, silence or gentle rituals.

WOMEN’S CIRCLE WELLNESS WORKSHOP

 

  1.  Welcome and introduction to the circle.
  2.  Opening meditation to ground
  3.  Gentle ritual or reflection.
  4.  Circle round of share and close

 

Aim of the Workshop

To encourage presence, inner listening, grounding and stillness, as well as inner connection and intuition/ imagination space.

 

Maximum of 4 women for the first session to ensure a supportive, intimate and cocooning environment.

FOREST BATHING

FOREST BATHING

 

In our Forest Bathing session, we will be engaging all of our senses to connect with nature and benefit from the natural healing properties of the beautiful woodland at Wytch Wood.

 

We will explore various meditation techniques such as mindful walking and visualisation practices alongside sensory activities, creative group activities using natural materials and a tea ceremony to finish to reset our nervous systems, relax in nature and enjoy being outdoors.

WHAT’S INVOLVED IN FOREST BATHING?

 

Perfect for all ages of 15+, this session will 2 hours.

 

Structure:

  1. Introduction talk: an introduction to forest bathing, the trees of Wytchwood, how forest bathing works and the healing effects of the practice.
  2. Mindful walk into the woodland, initial exploration of the trees and plants.
  3. Seated guided meditation session to calm the nervous system and connect with the woodland.
  4. Organic mandala exercise: engaging all of our senses by interacting with the woodland through collecting natural materials to create a group mandala on the woodland floor.
  5. Walking meditation through the woodland.
  6. Tea ceremony to finish, on the edge of the woodland, allowing time for reflection and discussion.
