A cosy pitch above the stream on the edge of the woodland and meadow.
Toby’s Double Camping Pitch is a mid-size level pitch on the edge of the meadow, beside the stream with lovely views into the woodland, or up the valley.
Toby’s Double pitch is approx. 6m square pitch beside the stream at the edge of woodland. It is suitable for bell tents and mid-size tents, and can also accommodate smaller campervans, though it has limited space for awnings.
Created when we had a double booking for a lovely chap called Toby – it was such a nice spot, we decided to keep it!
Toby’s Double camping pitch is best for:
⇒ Small and midsize tents up to approx 6m
⇒ Campervans
⇒ Sun or shade
⇒ Couples, mates and small families
⇒ Sleeps up to 5 total (max 4 adults and teens)
This pitch is not suitable for:
⊗ Hammock tents, big tents, pup tents
⊗ Longbase campervans, big awnings, trailer tents, roof-top tents
⊗ Solo travellers
⊗ Solitude lovers
You will have sole use of a wooden table and benches, a fire pit with a grill, and your own compost loo on your plot. You will also have access to the hot showers, washing-up area and all other facilities at Wytch Wood.
Minimum stay on Toby’s Double Camping Pitch is 4 nights during school holidays and 2 nights at other times. Minimum 2 guests.

Essential Booking Info
We are open from May to September and keep our pricing the same throughout the year.
All pricing is per person, per night:
Key Information
- Check in from 2 pm.
- Check out by 11 am.
- Party size - minimum 2 people, maximum 8 people total (max 6 adults and teens). You cannot exceed the maximum occupants per pitch.
- We do not accept dogs other than support dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site, and respectful levels of noise are required at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay on Toby’s Double Camping Pitch is 4 nights during school holidays and 2 nights at other times. Minimum 2 guests.
Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- If we are unable to re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement from Wytch Wood in writing.
- You are advised to take out travel insurance. See our full booking terms and conditions.
