A flexible pitch with two camping areas – stream or meadow – perfect for groups, tents or vans.
Toby’s Double Camping Pitch is a flexible, double camping pitch on the meadow’s edge, beside the stream with lovely views into the woodland, or up the valley.
The Toby’s Double pitch consists of two areas: a smaller 5m round tent pitch beside the stream at the edge of woodland and a second larger and more flexible area in the meadow. It is suitable for small/medium-sized tents by the stream and any size tent or campervan in the meadow.
Created when we had a double booking for a lovely chap called Toby – it was such a nice spot, we decided to keep it! We’ve now incorporated the meadow into this pitch to give it greater flexibility.
Toby’s Double camping pitch is best for:
⇒ Flexibility – use either the woodland spot, the meadow, or both!
⇒ Up to 2/3 tents of any type
⇒ Campervan, trailer tent or rooftop tent in the meadow
⇒ Sun or shade
⇒ Sleeps up to 8 total (max 6 adults and teens)
This pitch is not suitable for:
⊗ Hammock tents
⊗ Solo travellers
⊗ Solitude lovers
You will have sole use of a wooden table and benches, a fire pit with a grill, and your own compost loo on your plot. You will also have access to the hot showers, washing up area and all other facilities at Wytch Wood.
NB: Campervans – can use this pitch, but can only park in the meadow area.
Minimum stay on Toby’s Double Camping Pitch is 2 nights. Minimum 2 guests.

Key Information
- Check in from 2 pm.
- Check out by 11 am.
- Party size – minimum 2 people, maximum 8 people total (max 6 adults and teens). You cannot exceed the maximum occupants per pitch.
- We do not accept dogs other than support dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site, and respectful levels of noise are required at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay on Toby’s Double Camping Pitch is 2 nights. Minimum 2 guests.

Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- If we are unable to re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement from Wytch Wood in writing.
