PITCH 15 - WATERS MEET, SLEEPS UP TO 5 (Max 4 Adults and teens)
Over look several cascading streams which come together to form the main stream that becomes the River Axe. Sooo relaxing just listening to the water.
New pitch for summer 2024! Immersed in the ancient woodland Waters Meet is situated beside the headwaters of the River Axe.
Waters Meet is in the newest part of the campsite, situated at the top of the newly managed piece of woodland. You will be completely immersed in the ancient woodland, and over look several cascading streams which come together to form the main stream that becomes the River Axe.
A level area of the forest floor will fit small and medium tents. Views are into the woodland on all sides. This pitch is accessed via a footbridge, so you will have to carry your gear for the last 25m or so. More pictures will follow soon. The map below shows the pitch position relative to the rest of the campsite.
Waters Meet camping pitch is best for:
⇒ Nature lovers, bird watchers and shade seekers
⇒ Small and medium size tents, Hammock tents
⇒ Peace and quiet
⇒ Sleeps up to 5 (Max 4 adults)
This pitch is not suitable for:
⊗ Campervans, rooftop tents and trailer tents
⊗ Sun lovers
⊗ Proximity to cafe and amenities
You will have your own compost loo, seating area, table, BBQ or firepit and will have access to the communal facilities of hot showers, washing up area, water points and covered cafe/bar area.
Stays on the Waters Meet pitch are for a minimum of 4 nights during summer holidays and 2 nights at all other times. Minimum 2 guest.

Key Information
- Check in from 2pm.
- Check out by 11am.
- Party size – minimum 2 people, maximum 5 total (max 4 adults and teens). You cannot exceed the maximum occupants per pitch.
- We do not accept dogs other than support dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site and respectful levels of noise at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay for Waters Meet is 4 nights during school holidays, and 2 nights at all other times.

Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- In the event that we are unable re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement with us in writing.
