The barn is there for everyone to use – great when it’s raining, or really hot, or just somewhere to hang out and play a game.
We’ve tried to add a few little things to make your stay a bit easier and avoid those annoying little trips out.
THE WYTCH WOOD COFFEE SHOP
We love coffee. So we serve it every weekend morning and every day during peak times.
Serving our own blend specially prepared by a local roastery in Axminster, you can have a fresh barista-made drink to your liking or even take a bag of coffee home with you.
PIZZA AND FOOD NIGHTS
You can’t miss the pizza oven – this Italian beauty grabs everyone’s attention!
Fired up every Saturday and Wednesday in July and August – you can watch your hand-stretched pizza being prepared and cooked to order in front of you.

WEEKEND BAR
We stock a fully licensed bar and are open on the weekends.
Try out some refreshing local beers and ciders. Everything is sourced from within 15 miles – these aren’t brands you’ll find in the supermarket. The bar itself was second hand from a local brewery tap room!
PHONE & LAPTOP CHARGE POINTS
We can’t promise you a signal, but we can help you keep your phone and small devices charged. We have three charging points set up in the communal barn for you to use.
BOARD GAMES, OUTDOOR GAMES & HAMMOCKS
Lots of games to choose from for all ages – from backgammon to battleships.
We’ve also got badminton, croquet, and French skittles for you to enjoy. Help yourself, and please pack up and return them when you’re done.
WYTCH WOOD SHOP
We’ve got the basics covered with firewood and charcoal, firelighters and matches.
And then a few little treats as well, like marshmallows, cold drinks and local Baboo Gelato. We don’t have a card reader, so start a tab and pay when you leave.
COMMUNAL FRIDGE & FREEZER
Keep food fresh and cool boxes cool with our communal fridge.
It’s not huge, but it should help make life a little bit easier. Please be mindful when we are busy and don’t hog it with slabs of beer!

It is our favorite campsite of the UK and we have been here 3 times yet because of that. Elise is a wonderful host, makes you feel very welcome. The site is beautiful and all the activities (yoga, workshops for children/adults, pizza night) are great. Her staff is very friendly & helpful. And last but not least…so many lovely animals in the field and their own ‘fairytale like’ forrest (sheep, horses, bats, deer, owls). Fantastic! Heel ruime plekken tussen de bomen, elk met een eigen compost-toilet, vuurschaal en grill. Elise runt de plek met zoveel toewijding en doet het allemaal: van een barista-waardige flatwhite in de ochtend tot zuurdesempizza’s in de steenoven op woensdagavonden. We bleven hier 5 nachten met onze baby en konden hier helemaal ontspannen. Voldoende uitstapjes in de buurt! Absolute aanrader voor wie houdt van eco-camping. It's ideal for tents or smaller camper vans, and I loved how quiet and picturesque it was. Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the scenery. We loved the pizza, foraging for wild strawberries, paddling in the stream and lying in hammocks in the woods. We had a lovely pitch right by the stream and enjoyed the fire pit. The facilities were excellent with compost toilets at each pitch. Unfortunately, we missed out on the pizza, coffee shop and bar as they were closed during our visit outside of school holidays and during the working week. Camping area surrounded by trees. Kids can run about.
