Birdsong is a spacious 6m bell tent with high sides and a clear skylight roof, sitting in it’s own clearing in the ancient woodland.

Set beside a fast-flowing, shallow stream with views into the ancient woodland on 3 sides. Relax in fully-furnished comfort, Birdsong can sleep up to 5 (including kids) and has its own fully equipped outdoor kitchen, private shower, fire pit with grill, outdoor seating areas and compost loo.
Birdsong is set up to sleep 4 guests and is furnished with a Super King bed and 2 single beds. An additional put-up child’s bed can be supplied at a charge of £25 per booking.
Stay warm outside around the firepit and cook up a storm on your own tripod cooking grill. You can enjoy seating indoors or outside, so you’ll be comfortable and still enjoy your break whatever the weather.

With an adjoining porch tent, you can stash your coats, shoes and luggage in the dry. You’ll also have a well equipped outdoor kitchen with gas hob, sink, cool box and even a breakfast bar to sit at while you look out in to the woods.
All linen, towels, cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery is provided. Some solar lighting supplied but you may find some extra torches or lanterns useful – electric charging points are available in the communal barn.
Stays in Birdsong are for a minimum of 3 nights at all times. Minimum 1 guest. Lower prices are available for stays of 4 nights or more.

We are open from May to September and keep our pricing the same throughout the year.
Pricing is per night and includes 4 guests:
- £105 per night for stays of 4 nights or more.
- £25 charge for extra child’s bed
Key Information
- Check in from 3pm.
- Check out by 11am.
- Party size – minimum 1 adult, maximum 4 adults. Can sleep up to 5 with children. You cannot exceed the maximum occupants.
- We do not accept dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site and respectful levels of noise at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay for Birdsong is 3 nights at all times.

Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- In the event that we are unable re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement with us in writing.
- You are advised to take out travel insurance. See our full booking terms and conditions.
