New grass pitch for summer 2024, suitable for all tent types
New pitch for summer 2024! Pony Paddock is in the newest part of the campsite, mid-way along the woodland edge in the old paddock.
We have levelled a large area to accommodate all tents sizes on this sunny, south facing pitch, with direct access to the woodland behind.
Views are into the paddock and across the valley at the front and into the woods at the back. A living willow fence is being created for added privacy, and wildflowers will be sown all around.
The map below shows the position relative to the rest of the campsite.
Pony Paddock camping pitch is best for:
⇒ Large, flat, grass pitch for all tent types
⇒ Sun lovers
⇒ Larger families and small groups
⇒ Sleeps up to 6 (Max 6 adults and teens)
This pitch is not suitable for:
⊗ Campervans, trailer tents or rooftop tents
⊗ Hammock tents
⊗ Solo travellers
You will have your own compost loo, seating area, table, BBQ or firepit and will have access to the communal facilities of hot showers, washing up area, water points and covered cafe/bar area.
Stays on the Pony Paddock camping pitch are for a minimum of 4 nights during summer holidays and 2 nights at all other times. Minimum 2 guests.

Key Information
- Check in from 2pm.
- Check out by 11am.
- Party size – minimum 2 people, maximum 6 people (Max 6 adults or teens). You cannot exceed the maximum occupants per pitch.
- We do not accept dogs other than support dogs.
- Wytch Wood is a quiet campsite. No amplified music is allowed on site and respectful levels of noise at all times, especially after dark.
- Minimum stay for Pony Paddock is 4 nights during school holidays, and 2 nights at all other times.

Cancellations
- If cancelled six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee and the £12 Greener Camping Club membership fee (which is not refundable).
- In the event that we are unable re-let your dates, no refund will be made.
- Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement with us in writing.
- You are advised to take out travel insurance. See our full booking terms and conditions.
