The Somerset Wildlife Trust has been preserving Somerset’s natural spaces and safeguarding vulnerable wildlife across the county for over 50 years.
It has grown to be Somerset’s leading environmental charity with over 21,000 members. This has been achieved through the hard work and dedication of the Trust’s members and volunteers.
Wytch Wood is proud to support Somerset Wildlife Trust to help secure the future of Somerset’s wildlife and wild places. So far we have raised £350 for the Trust by donating a proportion of all bookings made during their ‘Big Wildlife Count’ in June.
Our fundraising activity for the Somerset Wildlife Trust involved donating 10% of the value of all bookings made during 16-25th June – The Big Count week. Thank you to everyone that made this possible.
By making this donation, they will use the money where it’s needed most; protecting special habitats and iconic species such as Bittern, Hazel dormice, Otters, Barn owls and the Large Blue butterfly.
The majority of the Somerset Wildlife Trust work is made possible through the support of their members and people who live and work in the county who choose to make donations, fundraise, or leave generous legacies.
Donations can still be made; simply email [email protected]
