New for 2026: Wytch Wood Seasonal Pizza Night Menus

Our wood-fired pizza nights are a summer tradition at Wytch Wood Camping in Somerset.

 

If you’ve been to Wytch Wood Camping before, you’ll know pizza night is a bit of a thing.

There’s something about the smell of the wood-fired oven, people gathering around the barn with a drink, and campers wandering over from their pitches that just feels like summer in the woods.

 

For 2026, we’ve decided to have a bit more fun with the menu and introduce seasonal specials throughout the summer.

Each month we’ll have a new meat pizza, a veggie pizza and a seasonal salad inspired by the time of year and what’s growing in the woods and the garden.

 

All of our pizzas are made on 9″ artisan sourdough bases and cooked in our wood-fired oven, so they’re quick, fresh and perfect after a day of exploring.

Pizza nights run every Saturday throughout the season from 5 pm, with additional midweek cooks during the school holidays.

To keep it fresh, we’ll be offering different midweek and weekend specials – so there’s always something new to try.

 

Here’s what’s coming up:

MAY – Wild Garlic Season

One of the markers of true ancient woodland, Wytch Wood is awash with the lush green leaves and perfect white star-shaped flowers of wild garlic in spring.

May is peak season, so it’s playing a leading role on the pizzas – no worries about vampires this month!

 

Wild Garlic Sausage & Herb

House-made wild garlic pork sausage with mushrooms and caramelised onions.

 

The Green Wytch (V)

Wild garlic and walnut pesto, mushrooms and lemon ricotta.

 

Spring Apple Slaw (VG)

Apple, cabbage, herbs and lemon dressing.

JUNE – Somerset Solstice

This month we’re celebrating our local suppliers for a summery solstice selection.

We’ve teamed up with local butchers, SJ Norman, to create our own custom sausage meat to use on the pizzas – and for you to cook on your fires (more on that soon).

We’re also giving iconic Somerset Brie its very own starring role.

 

Solstice Slice

House-seasoned fennel and herb sausage with caramelised red onion, finished with fresh herbs and chilli honey.

 

Somerset Ploughmans (V)

Caramelised onions, Somerset Brie and thyme — simple, rich and very West Country.

 

Lemon & Fennel Solstice Salad (VG)

Shaved fennel, lemon and herbs — fresh, zingy and perfect with pizza.

JULY – Tour de France Specials

We’re big cycling fans here at Wytch Wood, so July is dedicated to honouring that most iconic of sporting events with our own mini Tour de France in pizza form.

 

Bœuf Bourguignon Pizza

Slow-cooked beef in red wine with onions, bacon and Gruyère.

 

Alpine Melt (V)

Crème fraîche and caramelised onion base, topped with mushrooms and Gruyère, finished with thyme and chive oil.

 

Celeriac Rémoulade (VG)

A fresh and tangy dairy-free version of this French classic, with shredded celeriac, cornichons and fresh herbs.

Pizza nights at Wytch Wood increased to twice a week, and the coffee shop opened every day, becoming a favourite spot for morning chats and relaxation.

AUGUST – Harvest Time

Peak summer on the farm and in the garden. Everything is ripe and ready to pick.

We’re celebrating with some classic BBQ specials and making the most of the garden’s bounty.

 

Pit Roast

Pulled pork, slow-cooked in the pizza oven, crunchy pickled onions, pickled jalapeños, homemade BBQ sauce and a sour cream swirl.

 

Goatzilla

Creamy, tangy goat’s cheese, slivers of home-grown courgette, capers and homemade garlic sauce.

 

Fig, Leaf & Goat’s Cheese Salad (V)

Fresh figs, mixed leaves, goat’s cheese and honey cider dressing.

Dietary Requirements

  • All standard pizzas contain gluten. Any pizza with cheese contains milk.
  • Some items may contain nuts, egg or sulphites. All allergens will be identified on the menus.
  • We try to accommodate as many dietary requirements as possible, offering gluten-free bases, vegan cheese and flexibility on topping choice.
  • GF pizzas are cooked in a tray to limit cross-contamination, and ideally, we put them out first.
  • If you have any allergies, please make them known to the team when you book.

Prices

  • Meat special pizza – £14
  • Veggie special pizza – £13
  • Seasonal salad – £6

 

Payment can be made on the night in cash or card, or added to your campsite tab (if you are camping), to be paid at the end of your stay.

Pizza Night Details

  • To keep things relaxed (and queue‑free), pizzas are booked into time slots so you can choose a time that suits you.
  • You can book pizza during your stay, or in advance by phone, text or email.
  • Most people grab a drink from the bar, find a seat outside the barn and wait for their name to be called.
  • All guests are welcome to join us for pizza night, as well as our wonderful neighbours.

See You by the Fire

  • Pizza nights run from May to early September, and you can book ahead before you arrive for your stay.
  • Check out our events pages to see exact dates for pizza nights and other activities on site.

 

Hopefully we’ll see you there — ideally with a pizza in one hand and a drink in the other.
